Here again ! was a while ago since i wrote my last post. I was not sure if i actually enjoyed about writing of my things public over internet. But i decided to give it a try again, since my family and friends really liked to read it in Finland.
Alot of things has happened from the last post.
I spent my first christmas in belgium this year. we celebrated it at my boyfriends family which was really nice, different that I´m used too. In Finland christmas is a big thing. We have our traditional food, which is a lot by the way ! We start celebrating already in the morning of 24th with eating as breakfast risepudding which my grandmother makes, then we spend the whole day together with the family preparing everything for the evening. In the beginning of the evening we have an amazing dinner with different kinds of potatos, salads, turkey, ham and million other things. After eating we usually go to the sauna ( which is really miss here in belgium). The best part is to run straight from the hot sauna outside and roll in the snow and run back to the hot sauna, this puts your blod flowing !! And as last but not least we open all the presents, one at the time. This normally can take few ours because everyone buys presents for everyone. So there is a lot of presies...
Christmas week we spent in the beautiful city Mechelen since my boyfriend rode in Jumping Mechelen which seems to be the show of the year in Belgium. Was a really nice show and was nice to meet all our friends there. All topped of with that my boyfriend finished 4th in the Grand Prix for riders under aged 25.
New years eve we got to be with all of our friends together in a nice restaurant and have a small party afterwards.
I still have few of the same horses which i had in the summer and then i have bunch of new ones. I have not been doing so much shows now under the holiday term. This week Im going to start to show them again. And then i will write more about them.
Im looking forward to start a new year !
